The THG-42E is a one-way, 90 degree swing, or a two-way, 180 degree swing, self-closing handicap gate designed to be used with an access control system, generally in conjunction with waist-high access control turnstiles. The gate is electrically operated by a 24 VDC doorstrike. Closing is achieved by a floor-mounted hydraulic shock absorber which can be surface or sub-floor mounted. Construction is a 2" square stainless steel framework, polished to a #4 satin finish and a 1/4" Lexan filler panel with universal handicap logo. Gate dimensions and operational specifications meet ADA requirements. Clear opening of 32" can be adjusted as necessary. Overall height of 38" matches waist-high turnstiles and can vary as needed. Available materials include anodized aluminum, powder coated steel, bronze, brass, or #8 mirror finish stainless steel.
